Dreaming God’s Dream – Stewardship 2026

What does that mean to you?

Greetings Beloved church!

Thank you for being a progressive Christian faith community that is changing lives for the good. Our mission and ministry here at UCCNB stir our hearts – it’s why we belong, why we share our gifts so generously, and why we give of our time, talent, and financial resources. Together we are dreaming and living God’s dream for this church – where love, service, and faith transform the world around us.

Our theme for this year’s Stewardship season is Dreaming God’s Dream: No Gift Too Small, No Dream Too Big. Stewardship is when we are invited to prayerfully consider and then make annual financial and volunteer commitments to UCCNB. This year, in these days in which we live, we know we need to work together, including pooling our financial resources, as we seek to do God’s liberating and loving work in our lives, in our congregation, and out in our community. To do this ongoing work of healing and justice we need to be deeply rooted and fed spiritually. For this to happen, we need to financially support the ministries, staff, people, and spaces that allow us to make progress in ushering in God’s dream.

Thank you, congregation, for living into God’s dream through our intergenerational meaningful and joyful worship services, our extravagant welcome, our inclusive hospitality, and our commitment to co-creating a more just, generous, and compassionate church, community, and world. For with Jesus as our model and guide, building community around God’s love and justice is what we do!

Let us, together, boldly dream and live God’s dream, for no gift is too small and no dream is too big!
